Long Running

Post by HikerShawn »

This past August, I did my first half-marathon. It was a trail run that took me about 4 hours and 14 minutes which wasn't bad for someone who just started running this year.

Next year, I'm signed up for the 50K which is around 30 miles. After that, I may consider the 50-mile run and then the 100-mile run.

Personally, I've fallen in love with trail running and long runs.

How about you all? Any runners out there? Do you enjoy running longer distances?

Honestly I've never been a fan of running lol. I prefer to get my exercise by walking or biking. (Which I admit it's been a while since I've done either.) It's cool that you've got a passion for long running though!

I wouldn't mind going for a run as it's very good for you.
