Traveling while the weather is bad

Post by Ravenfreak »

We got hit with some snow the other day and got more snow today as well. What do you do whenever the weather is bad and you are needing to travel? Do you delay your plans and just reschedule them or do you leave earlier than you anticipated? I usually just leave earlier than usual, if it's too bad then I turn around and just delay my plans until the roads clear up.

I buy 4x4 pickup trucks for this reason. I travel in snow, go to wild areas, and take my vehicles into areas that are rugged. That's why I'm fine with paying for a truck. It's more expensive and takes more gas but I can go more places than most.
