Do you have a blood pressure monitor at home?

Post by Ravenfreak »

Do you have a blood pressure cuff at home? I do, I need to actually start using it though since my endocrinologist wanted me to track my blood pressure since it was a bit high when I visited her office. I'm supposed to do this for a week, but I keep forgetting to. I think I need to set an alarm on my phone to help me remember. Anyways it's much better than having to go to Walgreens and check it.

I bought one a few months ago.

I bought it with the intention of using it daily. However, I really only use it when I'm super dizzy and feel bad, which is usually when my blood pressure is pretty high.

I try to chill out after that.

No, I think I should since both people in my home have issues with it.

Yes, I got one. Ever since my uncle had BP issues, I’ve been careful. This life is too stressful, especially in this economy. Sometimes even small issues can raise your blood pressure without you knowing. So having a BP monitor at home just makes sense.

I haven't got my own yet but I do have the plan to buy one. After hearing how common high blood pressure has become, especially for people who sit for long hours, I need to get one.

I got mine from Walmart for $30. It measures heart and pulse. Easy to use, too.

Good to know, though I had hope they be more cheaper.
