I make sure to treat myself with kindness and that means treating myself with the same level of patience that I easily give to others. Practicing kindness can be from resting when tired and speaking positively to yourself.
However, whenever we practice these simple things, it rewires how our mind reacts to pressure and pain. It is also necessary to celebrate little wins and make sure to forgive our personal flaws. All of these things lead to better emotional health.

I practice kindness to myself by setting realistic expectations and celebrating small wins. I create more than enough time to take very good care of myself by engaging in meditation or in my favourite hobby. I also replace self-criticism with positive self-talk.

You need to be gentle with yourself by prioritizing rest and activities that bring you joy. In my own case, reading or taking warm bath give me so much joy.
