I had a helper when I was a machine operator. He was in good shape and was into weightlifting. He always had something negative to say about my weight and health. I smoked back then. He wasn't being uplifting; he was just being a jerk.
Last I knew, he eventually started using THC and got addicted to it enough to quit working out.
Now I'm a lot healthier and I've been a non-smoker for years.
Funny how the tables turn in life.

I agree with you. My last job was that.
I was being treated poorly and HR didn't stop it, the manager didn't stop it, no one did.
So, I quit (put in my 2 weeks notice) and left them without a specialist to do a job no one else there could do.
They suffered quite a bit for it.

For example a cafe manager always welcomes you with "Hi, what can I get you?" and "Thanks, you have a good day, see you next time."
It's against the law if they were to say "No you get nothing you unhealthy slob" or screaming "GET OUT OF THE CAFE, NOW." – should a cafe manager act like that it has to be reported to security and police for antisocial behaviour and harassment and discrimination of physical looks.
You must always respectful and perform a welcoming atmosphere at all costs and fulfil the order at the customer's request.

Unfortunately most of the time HR is there for the company, not for the people who work for the company. One of the reasons why I quit my previous job was the lack of respect. Lots of people didn't treat me with respect or would talk behind my back. So I had enough and put my two weeks in and quit.
