Collect yourself and move on. If you can cut that person or thing from your life, too, then do that. Or I think it will eventually come to a head.

What has helped me over the years was overlooking a lot of situations that don't deserve to trigger me. Doing so has helped me handle my anger level because I am someone who was built to have anger issues right from childhood.
