Have you ever used Amtrak as a plus sized person?

Early this year I watched a video uploaded by The Carpetbagger. He traveled through a few states via Amtrak and he gave a tour of his sleeping arrangements. It looked quite cramped! I've been thinking about using Amtrak to travel the country sometime in the future, and it got me wondering if my wife could fit in one of the cots. So has anyone here who is plus sized used Amtrak? Specifically the overnight Amtrak, meaning you sleep on the train.

I've never even been on Amtrak.

We have them over here around Carbondale, Illinois but I've never actually took one.

I've always wanted to take one with my bike and train up to Chicago to ride around the city.

I've never used it, depending on how wide a person is, they may not fit.
