How often do you get lost in your own head?

I sometimes find myself getting lost in my own head, and negative memories come flooding in. This tends to happen if I'm really focused at work and I'm listening to music. You'd think the work and songs would distract me but this isn't always the case.

I have been lately.

I've been taking the sudden death of my dad really hard. I keep trying to blame myself for not going around more. I know I shouldn't do that, but I think it's part of the grieving process.

It has me thinking quite a bit lately. It's difficult to move on.

Oh yeah I get lost in my head a lot of the times when I'm in the shower. There's also a subreddit called "Shower thoughts" so I guess a lot of us end up getting lost in the shower lol.

I've that subreddit a few times. It kind of gets interesting at some points.

I think a few newsletters I'm subscribed to actually shares those in their issues.
