Spelunking

Post by HikerShawn »

Spelunking is when you go into caves and walk through and crawl through them.

It's not for the Claustrophophic.

Have any of you done this at all? Would you do it?

Plus size might not feel like they can do it, but caves are not all equal. Some can be done by anymore of any size.

I'd be too afraid that I would get stuck, so I never really wanted to do this myself. I like watching videos online of people spelunking though!

I'm not one for crawling around or going through caves. So not something I do.

It's definitely a different experience.

I feel comfortable in tight caves but I could never skydive.

Same, I rather crawl into a cave than jump from somewhere high.

And there are great tourist caves out there where you don't have to crawl anywhere and you won't get wet :)
