For better health, you would need to eat more nutrient rich foods, reduce sugar and engaging in cardio exercises. Focus on staying hydrated and avoiding stressing yourself too much.

It depends on what health issues you have. If you've got health issues related to your lifestyle, you should look into having a balanced diet and exercise. If it's mental health related, you should seek out a therapist.

If you're overweight and you want to lose weight and get fit, set small achievable goals rather than large goals that are harder to achieve.
Large goals will likely overwhelm you and burn you out. Then you'll go back to your old ways.
I weigh 250 pounds. I am 6'5" tall but I have a belly on me that I don't want on me. I feel like if I lost it, I could hike/bike/run better with less pain in my back due to holding this belly.
My BMI says my ideal weight is around 205 to 210. 40 pounds a lot of lose and if I make that my goal, it will be harder to get, and I might fall out of trying to complete it.
So, I make smaller goals such as, lose 5 pounds in three months. How will I do this? Increase exercise to one extra day a week. Quit eating candy for 3 months as a challenge. An easy goal. One extra day of fitness isn't hard. A fun challenge to see if I can go without candy for 3 months. If I complete this all, I'm bound to lose more than the 5 pounds and if I do lose more, it will be an extra bonus and confidence booster.
Just take it easy on yourself, you're not superman or superwoman.

I don't necessarily see too many health issues with caffeine to be honest.Martha wrote: Thu Aug 07, 2025 2:07 am Fixing your health can start with eating a good wholesome diet of healthy food such as protein, fruit veggies and healthy fats. I drink back dark roast coffee every day. It actually helps me with my IBS-C. Now adding cream and sugar into it would definitely be bad for weight but I don't do that.

Caffeine is fine in moderation and shouldn't be heavily used in the morning. I start my day with water and gets me going enough.HikerShawn wrote: Mon Sep 22, 2025 12:18 pmI don't necessarily see too many health issues with caffeine to be honest.Martha wrote: Thu Aug 07, 2025 2:07 am Fixing your health can start with eating a good wholesome diet of healthy food such as protein, fruit veggies and healthy fats. Re: How do I fix my health?
I should drink more water at the start of the day. I don't normally do that, though. I usually drink around 1-3 large cups of black coffee and then I go to water.
I should drink a few cups of water first and then move on to my coffee.
