How Can I Improve My Volleyball Spiking Technique?

I'm a newbie and I certainly need help from the spikers. I wanna crush those spikes like a Pro But my hits keep going out of bounds each time I try it. I just need to know the secret to doing it the right way. Do I need to jump higher, or just aim for corners? Please share your best tip with me. or drill that leveled up your spiking game!

You have to begin with footwork. Get into position first and then do the rest. A powerful three or four step will give you your pace, and your center. This will send your ball down rather than out.

Practice, find some good videos on youtube and put in as much practice as possible.

Practice makes perfect, I recommend practicing every day so you can improve your spiking technique.

Too bad there wasn't a machine like a baseball launcher but for this sort of thing!

For volleyball spiking, the main thing is timing. I remember when I first tried it, I jumped early like I wanted to dodge a slap. But once you learn how to time the setter and hit the ball at the highest point, everything would work out.

Spiking is not easy at all, but if you want to improve, you just need to build your leg strength and jump power. I’ve watched some training videos and the drill that is most effective is doing repeated approach steps without the ball. The funniest thing is that your body will get used to that movement.
