Were you always bigger?

Have you always been plus size?
As a kid, I was very skinny. I was probably skinnier than I should have been. I didn't get meals like everyone else did. We were pretty poor, and my parents were too busy partying as I was growing up.
It was about in my 20s that I gained all my weight. It was mainly from drinking beer, not being active, and eating the worst food possible - fast food every night.
Do any of you share the same experience? Were you skinny at one time or have you always been a little bigger?

I was a bit chubby as a kid, barely overweight though not obese. I got bigger when I was in my 20's though.

What's crazy is when I was a scrawny kid, I could eat anything and any amount and never gain weight. Of course, as I said, we really didn't have a whole lot of money but when we did get it, I bought candy and soda and that's it.
Nowadays, I look at a cupcake, and I can feel my pants getting tighter LOL

Our metabolisms really do start taking a nose dive the older we get lol. It's crazy to think one day we were able to eat all the candy in the world and not really gain a pound, then all of a sudden it hits you like a brick wall.

No, I've been on the thinner side but I know a lot of people who are overweight and have a ton of issues.

I've always been that lean, fit and energetic guy since I was a kid and I've eaten and kept fit for years now. I don't like a situation where I am not staying fit and that's why I have always avoided eating a lot.
