Ever wanted to explore abandoned railroad tracks?

Recently I watched a video of this guy who built his own hovercraft and used it to ride this set of abandoned railroad tracks! It was really cool to see him travel the tracks that were once used by steam powered trains but now railfans ride them.

Nah, not sure what the appeal is? I rather go see something pretty.

That could be pretty to some people. An old abandoned look.

If you follow the tracks you can find some pretty looking scenery! This is the video I was talking about in my first post, he traveled along the tracks and found some cool things along the way.

You know, something to consider -- most railways outside of the city were put in scenic areas so that passenger train patrons have something nice to look at.

Yep! One time it was the only way to travel large distances. When I was a kid I wanted to be a train engineer because I thought it would be cool to see those scenic routes. Now train hoppers get to see that for free though lol, but they have to be sneaky.

Nowadays, I just watch a couple of YouTubers who do it and seem to get away with it!

I did but was prohibited as they have protocols of safety first.
