Do you think stress kills?

I used to be really stressed out at my last job. It was because I hated working there. I was always given all the stuff no one else wanted to do. They took full advantage of me.
I would stress out so bad that I would give myself ulcers.
I think had I kept doing it, I'd had might die from it. However, I quit and found better work.
Do you think stress can kill a person?

Absolutely, stress can cause negative health effects and can eventually lead to death. It's good you got out of that environment, I always tell people your health comes before any job. If you feel that your job is negatively affecting your health, it's time to get a new one.

Yep.
I think too many people are stressed in life because they choose a job based on how much money they make versus how happy they are.
When I made that switch, life got exceptionally better.

All the more reason why we all gotta take breaks – e.g. on a long road trip you gotta rest every 2 hours for a 30 minute break. Don't attempt to do a full length 6 hour non stop highway endurance.

Breaks are good. Until they don't help at least!
