Would you ever want to try and explore any abandoned mines? They can be dangerous to venture in, but I bet it's tons of fun to explore them! I used to watched a Youtube channel where this guy would explore random abandoned mines. I also watched an old clip filmed in 1998 where these three young guys were exploring a mine and one of them held onto a old rope and it gave away under his weight. He's lucky he survived the fall but after that happened the mine he fell in was sealed off.

Nope, they are abandon for a reason and most likely ready to collapse so I want nothing to do with it.

I like to at least see the mouth or openings of the mines.
I don't explore because a lot of old mines are either full of endangered bats that humans need to try to avoid or there are gasses present that will kill a person really quickly.
I used to be a coal miner. It's neat under there but it can kill you really quick, especially if not monitored.

Oh yeah it was dangerous for the workers for sure, it's even worse when it's just random people exploring. That's cool you were a coal miner, that's lots of hard work and it takes a strong person to do it!

It was the hardest work I've ever done.
But me and coal dust didn't get along. It started giving me symptoms of COPD in my early 20s. I was on a few different inhalers. Once I quit, my breathing got better, and I even smoked cigarettes back then.
