Do any of you color your hair at all?

If so, are you worried at all about the potential damage in doing so?

Coloring hair typically requires chemicals which can damage your hair and even make you lose it at some point.

I've only dyed my hair once, I probably won't do it again. I've been going grey since I was 14, so I don't mind going completely grey. My wife colors her hair all the time. I don't think she really worries about the damage done to her hair, she's been dyeing it for years now.

I don't, but my gf tends to do it. It adds interesting things to our relationship.

When I was younger, I was into the goth scene which is goofy because I'm about as southern redneck as a person can sound. LOL

Anyways, I bought black hair dye to dye my brown hair black. I'm bad with instructions and pretty much washed all of the dye from my hair without it even changing a little bit of color LOL

I gave up after that

Lol I can't picture you being goth Shawn! I dyed my hair green once when I worked at Walmart, this was back in 2018 so I was 28. My wife kept saying I looked like Beast Boy from Teen Titans haha.

Yeah. It was definitely very fake looking, LOL.

I'm pretty hillbilly sounding and it was probably worse when I was younger, haha.

And not to knock that lifestyle but I'm glad I grew out of it. For me personally, it made life negative and darker than I wanted it to be. Life is much better now without all the dark stuff in there. For others, it doesn't do that but for me, it wasn't the best lifestyle for me.

Trying to keep the hair dye colour away from skin can be challenging – if you get on skin the excess will not wash off until after another 2 or 3 showers.
