Are any of you into swimming for the reason of fitness?
I'm not a good swimmer but I can get in a pool and walk with the drag of the water to "wok out" and help give my body a full workout. They say swimming is one of the best ways to get a full-body workout.
What do you think? Is it something you do for fitness?

Doing lengths of the pool is very good for you.

I wish I could do laps as in swimming them.
I've never been a good swimmer, though. I need to go to one of those adult swim lesson courses and learn. I'm not embarrassed simply because learning it could be lifesaving at some point.
Do any of you struggle with swimming at all?

I wish I had a pool where I live, I would go swimming more often if I did. But I live on the top of a hill, and there's no good place to install a pool whether it's an above ground or bellow ground pool. I suppose I could go to the local rec center.

It literally works out your entire body. It's probably one of the best forms of cardio out there.
I just get so hungry after being in the pool LOL

You don't have to be Michael Phelps to be a hero – just go by own pace.

Yep there's no reason to go crazy and try to do laps as fast as he can, just swim and do light water aerobics since it's easier on your joints when you're in water.

Helps that the water takes any gravity weight off of the body as well.
