Shawn here.
40-something-year-old male living in the Midwestern United States.
I was scrawny as a kid. The in my 20s, I found beer and gained quite a bit of weight. I'm definitely plus size right now but working to be skinny again. It's not easy when you're older, though.
But I don't let a little extra weight stop me. I hike, bike, and even trail run frequently. Last month, I finished my first half-marathon in 4 hours and 14 minutes. Next year, I'm going for the 50K (30something miles).
Other than that, I'm into forums, blogging, and writing.
Thanks for having me

Thanks for joining the forum and congratulations on finishing your first half marathon. To me , that's a huge accomplishment, considering the time it took you. Very few people could keep pushing like you did!

Great seeing you here Shawn! I can't wait for this second summer to go away so I can go out more and enjoy the outdoors in the fall lol. It's been super hot here in Missouri lately, and I'm sure it's not much better in your neck of the woods lol.
