I know someone who has lost a significant amount of weight just from getting a gym membership and a trainer. She also cut back on junk food. She's lost over 100 lbs. possibly even more. There was nothing extreme about what she did.

You got to watch what you eat and go swimming, that will be a quick way of getting it done.

I weighed 350 pounds in 2011. I smoked two packs of cigarettes a day, drank nearly a 12-pack of beer a night, ate nothing but fast food, and did no physical activity.

In 2012, I wanted to change because I was afraid I was going to die soon. I probably would have died even before COVID hit.

So, I bought a mountain bike. I rode 20 miles and fell in love with it.

Eventually, cigarettes and alcohol were stopping me from riding longer, so I quit smoking and getting drunk. Nowadays, I no longer drink.

I also started eating better and cooking my meals.

I lost 100 pounds in three months by cycling almost every day, covering 30 to 100 miles each day.

No extreme diets - just a love for cycling, and my life changed!
