When you have been restricted by your doctor due to excessive body fluids retaining in the body. Also no water before bed to avoid waking up at night causing lack of sleep. After extreme workouts that caused lots of sweat loosing electrolytes so drink sports drinks. When do you think you should not drink water?

I never heard to not drink water, but I do know drinking it before bed isn't the best.

You don't want to drink water or really anything before you go to bed. You also can't drink water usually if you have to fast for a medical procedure.

Avoid drinking water before bed or when fasting for medical procedures, as it can disrupt sleep and affect test results.

I drink way too much before bed.

I'm up a few times a night having to go pee.

Honestly, I think the time you are not supposed to drink water is immediately after heavy food. This will make you feel bloated. I’ve noticed it myself after eating swallow or rice. Another time is right before sleep. I just drink water steadily during the day, no rush.

To be fair, water is good but there are certain moments you should do it carefully Like during intense exercise, you are supposed to sip gradually, not gulp like a person that is trying to get out of an heatstroke. 🤣 And taking too much water can slow down digestion.

I always take three normal swigs of my water bottle or hydration bladder when doing fitness.

I try to do that every 15 minutes in the summer and every 30 minutes in the winter.

I know you shouldn't also drink water before going to see a movie, hate to get up during the movie to use the bathroom.
