Being a plus size parent can also be very challenging as it can also bring additional problems. It takes strength to be judged at the doctor office to being stared at on a playground.

So, you need to be concerned about how to demonstrate love, confidence, and body acceptance to your kids. You are an example to them, and the way you treat yourself, shows them the way to treat other people.

Being a plus size parent, I have been at a place where someone invariably made assumptions based on my health status but I ignore it. I pay attention to the present moment and being a good example of self-love to my children. This is what is my more important in my opinion.

Life has been a mix of ups and downs to me. I do get stares, but there have been some beautiful moments that I got to connect with my kids without shame.
