To get your wife to respect you, it starts with self-respects. Personally, I focus on being honest and dependable. I also try as much as possible to set healthy boundaries without being harsh and I communicate it clearly but respectfully too. I command respect by taking responsibility and I always stay calm in every conflict we have. The most important thing is that she should see leadership in you, not ego. With that, she’ll naturally respond with respect.

In a marriage there should be respect. Another thing is that respect is something you earn naturally when you are a man of integrity and when you’re responsible too.

To gain respect, you should be the one leading with empathy and you should be emotionally available too. These little things matter a lot.
