Self-acceptance means embracing yourself fully. It also means accepting your strengths, flaws, past mistakes and giving room for growth. You need to love who you are today but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give room for change and improvement in the future. This type of mindset will eliminate constant pressure to meet external standards. Self acceptance replaces self criticism which inner peace. With that, you’re bound to have confidence in yourself.

In my opinion, self acceptance means being comfortable with what I have and where I am in life. I don't have to be perfect or be an ideal person to be sufficient.

I used to hate my own body but now I look at that as part of my narrative. Tolerating myself has brought me so much peace.

Self-acceptance is being comfortable in your skin and who you are and not having to transform yourself to suit someone else. It is getting comfortable in your own way.
