Hair treatment is not a one-size-fits-all approach. To get healthy hair, it solely depends on your hair type, goals, and lifestyle. For instance, curly hair needs more moisture. A fine hair would require lightweight products. And a damaged hair would normally require extra repair.

5 Simple Steps for Every Hair Type

I will give 5 most simple steps to take good care of your hair and make it healthy.

1. Wash Gently: I prefer to use sulfate-free shampoo and I make sure to wash my hair 2-3 times in a week. And the bonus tip is to massage your scalp with fingertips, don't iSe your nails, to avoid damaging your scalp and to boost blood flow. Also, make sure to wash with cool/lukewarm water as hot water will dry out the hair very quickly.

2. Condition Correctly : It's necessary to apply conditioner and make sure to do it only on the hair ends and not the scalp. That's what I do and I get the best result for my hair. But if you have dry/curly hair, it's better to use a deep-conditioning mask once a week .

3. Detangle Wet Hair Safely : To detangle my hair, I use a wide-tooth comb and I do it when it's wet. It's great to start from the ends to prevent breakage .

4. Protect Before Styling : This is a mistake made by many people. They fail to protect their hair before styling it. So, I always apply heat protectant spray before I blow-dry to protect my hair.

5. Moisturize Daily: This is my common practice. I moisturize my hair every blessed day. I use 1-2 drops of hair oil on ends to fight frizz and it makes it look so beautiful and healthy.

5 Common Hair Mistakes to Avoid

These are the most common mistakes made by so many people and to give our hair that beautiful look, we need to avoid the following:

1. Avoid overwashing your hair.
2. Don't rub the hair with a towel because it causes breakage. Rather, you should pat dry gently .
3. Don't skip trimming your hair for at least 6-8 weeks.
4. Avoid using hot tools on wet hair. When I tried it, I blamed myself as it caused steam damage. So, it's necessary to wait until it's 80% dry .
5. Avoid doing tight hairstyles. They cause hair loss. Personally, I use soft fabric hair ties

Extra Tips for Super-Healthy Hair
I've got some wonderful tips to make your hair very healthy. I tried them and it worked like magic.

1). Eat hair-friendly foods. They should be rich in protein, vitamin E and iron and good examples are eggs, nuts, spinach etc.
2). You should try hard to drink 3 liters of water every day. The reason is that it helps you to hydrate your hair from inside.
3). You need to reduce friction as much as possible by sleeping on silk pillowcases. It means reducing your hair breakage .
4). One mistake you shouldn't make is not wearing hats in the sun. So many people do not know that the UV rays damage hair just like the skin.
