Will you be trying to improve on rocky relationships this year?

It's a new year and lots of people start making changes in their lives. If you're in a rocky relationship or have a rocky relationship with family members will you be trying to improve them or will you start cutting toxic people out of your live? I've thought about trying to get back into contact with my Aunt and Grandmother this year, but I'm on the fence.

Generally I would just ignore people who are rude to me and only talk to those who are respectful.

Honestly that's probably what I might just end up doing. I cut my grandmother out of my life almost 16 years ago, because she was toxic. My aunt lives with her so I had to sort of cut her out of my life too but I didn't have any issues with her.
